Sculpture

In 1651, this 24 centimeter Terracotta sculpture was created by Artus Quellinus, as a design study for one of two fountains to be built in the inner courtyard of the new Town Hall in Amsterdam. Both fountainheads were to be cast in copper; however, for reasons unknown, neither fountain was ever completed.
