Going From A Few Drops Of Milk, To A Good Flow

Going from either a few drops of milk, (or no milk at all), to a good flow of milk is one of the most common stumbling blocks encountered by women who are trying to induce lactation. So, how does a woman reach high production of milk? The answer seemingly isn't in physical inducing techniques, but rather in mindset!

When a new mother is nursing her newborn, there is *nothing* more important to her than making milk and breast feeding; her number one priority in the whole world is making milk for her child. It is her desire to meet the needs of her child that makes the chemistry work.

One thing I have noticed that all women, who have successfully induced lactation to a steady flow of milk, have in common is an obsession with making milk. When the body chemistry is right, most women seem to become obsessed with wanting to make more milk. It is at this point that milk production begins to noticeably increase.

Whatever method of inducing you are using, it might be helpful to cast out of your mind any self doubts and focus solely on making milk. Make lactation one of your highest priorities. Mindset is of equal importance to the physical techniques of inducing lactation.
